DCR Salt Marsh Nature Trek

Join MassDCR and Rumney Marsh Conservancy for a Salt Marsh Nature Trek on May 28th!

Explore this natural habitat on a moderately-paced three mile walk across a relatively flat trail at Rumney Marsh Reservation. You may spot wildlife such as coyote, raptors, and see groupings of tree species like oak and pine. Bring binoculars for the best views, some loaner binoculars available thanks to the Friends of Belle Isle Marsh. Dress appropriately for the weather, wearing sturdy footwear.

Rain and high winds may cancel the program.

Where: DCR’s Rumney Marsh Reservation parking lot, located across the street from 100 Ballard Street, Saugus, MA
