About Rumney Marsh Conservancy

Rumney Marsh Conservancy is a local, volunteer-led organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and deepening public understanding of Rumney Marsh and its surrounding ecosystems.

Our work focuses on the long-term health of the Rumney Marsh Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC), one of the largest and most ecologically important salt marsh systems in Massachusetts. This landscape plays a critical role in coastal resilience, flood mitigation, wildlife habitat, and the environmental history of its surroundings.
